🧪 Closed beta

Agent Fettle – beta testers wanted

Use a tray tool that checks and repairs Windows' own defences on your real PC for four weeks, and tell us what you notice.

Read what it does →

🎁 What you get

  • The installer (Google Drive link) and its SHA-256
  • A one-year licence (worth ¥2,800) for free, e-mailed the moment your registration is confirmed. It expires after a year and keeps working in the release version
  • A short report template

🙏 What we ask (4 weeks)

  • Install it and leave it running in the tray
  • Once a week, send the output of Fettle.Cli.exe selfcheck --mask (host and user names are masked)
  • Report verdicts you disagree with, repair results, crashes or load, unclear wording – whenever you notice them
  • How much you report is up to you

✅ Requirements and caveats

  • Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11, 64-bit. Home and Pro both welcome. We especially want PCs with a third-party antivirus, without a GPU, or with a NAS
  • About 5–10 testers. Applications close when the group is full
  • The app is not code-signed: SmartScreen warns on first run ("More info" → "Run anyway")
  • It cannot start on PCs where Smart App Control is ON (Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control)
  • Repairs change settings, PATH and the registry. Read the plan before you click Apply; previous values are saved and can be restored
  • Settings file formats may change during the beta
  • The UI is in English and Japanese; the beta support mail is answered in English or Japanese

📝 Application

The licence is issued to this address.

Write "none" if you only use Microsoft Defender.

Used for the optional local LLM. "Not sure" is fine.

Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control. Windows 10 does not have it: choose "Off".
